Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams – Sunday September 30, 2012  1:00PM EST

Before the 2012 NFL season started, the betting world expected the San Francisco 49ers to run away with the NFC West. New St. Louis Rams’ head coach Jeff Fisher was expected to take a couple of years to turn the Rams into a playoff team and the Seahawks dropped off everyones’ radar when it decided to start a rookie
quarterback. Three weeks later, the 49ers have shown signs of being beatable, the Arizona Cardinals are in first place and the Seattle Seahawks may have something with its new rookie quarterback. As for the St. Louis Rams, things are changing but the change is slow.

One of the players that seems to be benefitting the most from Jeff Fisher’s coaching style is Rams’ quarterback Sam Bradford. The online sports betting experts have noticed that Bradford is more patient, accurate
and confident in the pocket this season. As a result of Bradford’s new-found confidence, the Rams are scoring points on a regular basis. The problem is that football is a team game and the defensive side of the Rams’
team is still not holding up its end of the bargain. The sooner Fisher can address the defensive issues, the sooner St. Louis can compete for a playoff spot.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks have rookie quarterback Russell Wilson in the pocket and veteran running back Marshawn Lynch causing all kinds of havoc out of the backfield. The sport betting experts are not ready to crown the Seahawks yet, but the experts will remind everyone that Seattle has a pretty good defense. There are a lot more weapons on both sides of the ball for the Seattle Seahawks this season than last season. With the confidence that the team is developing in Russell Wilson, this Seattle team could be one to be reckoned with in 2012.

St. Louis Rams

A 5 dimes review of the St. Louis roster shows that there were some pieces there that could be molded into a good
team by the right coach. Bradford has a young corps of receivers and veteran running back Stephen Jackson has been an anchor for the team for years. But the Rams have had problems in the defensive secondary and with the pass rush for many years now, and those problems still need to be addressed. Right now, the Rams can stay in games against teams where St. Louis can survive a shootout in regulation. With the way the Seattle defense has been playing lately, a shootout may not be in the cards for the Rams in this game.

The Bottom Line

Seattle and St. Louis are two up and coming teams, but Seattle has a bit of a head start when it comes to figuring out how to win with the players that it has. This game will be close, but Seattle should come away with the win.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New Orleans Saints – Sunday September 23, 2012 1:00PM EST

The season does not get any easier for the Kansas City Chiefs as the team heads to New Orleans to take on the Saints in week three. The online sports book experts were not surprised that the Atlanta Falcons blew out the Chiefs in the Kansas City home opener, but the lopsided loss to the Buffalo Bills on the road was a little surprising.
The Chiefs have now been blown out in two consecutive home openers and Kansas City has suffered huge losses at the hands of the Bills for two seasons in a row. Absolutely nothing seemed to be going right for the Chiefs in Buffalo, and that is a dangerous pattern to continue as Kansas City faces a desperate New Orleans
Saints' team.

The Saints have started the season 0-2, and just about every online football betting expert is pointing at the season-long suspension of Saints' head coach Sean Payton as the culprit. The team is playing well, but not well enough to win games. In week two against the Panthers, the New Orleans offensive line was battered and
beaten and allowed quarterback Drew Brees to get battered and beaten as well. Without Payton, the Saints do not have the ability to close out teams like it used to have and it is doubtful that things will improve much over the next few weeks.

Kansas City Chiefs

The bookmaker betting software experts noticed that Kansas City running back Jamaal Charles did not play very much in the Buffalo game. While the Chiefs try to downplay it as just a matter of the flow of the game requiring more passing and less Charles, the general consensus is that Charles is injured again and that
would leave the Chiefs without a running game. The Chiefs' defense also had problems containing the Buffalo running game, which does not set Kansas City up very well to face this powerful New Orleans running attack.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints will be taking this game very seriously. The 5dimes betting experts know that the Saints desperately needs this game and that New Orleans will be pulling out all of the stops to run up the score on Kansas
City. The Saints need a shot of confidence to help the team get through this
season, and this game could be exactly what the Saints need to get back on the winning track.

The Bottom Line

The last thing the Chiefs need to hear is that the Saints need a blow-out win in this game, but that is the unfortunate truth. The Saints will keep the pedal down on the accelerator right up until the final whistle
blows. The Saints need to score a lot of points, and the hapless Chiefs are
more than happy to oblige.

New York Jets @ Pittsburgh Steelers – Sunday September 16, 2012 4:25PM EST

The Pittsburgh Steelers are injured across the offensive line and have key injuries at the running back position. Pittsburgh also had to play its first game of the season without injured linebacker James Harrison. Despite all of the
problems the Pittsburgh Steelers are having this season, the online football betting world still considers the Steelers to be a far superior team on both sides of the ball to the Buffalo Bills. The New York Jets are going to find that beating a weak Buffalo team at home is nothing compared to trying to play a determined Pittsburgh team on the road.

The legal online sports betting world finally got to see the wildcat formations that the New York Jets have kept so secret all preseason, and no one was really impressed. The obvious lack of a plan for the use of Tim Tebow shows that Tebow was brought in just to generate headlines and shine more of the spotlight on the Jets. Tebow did not show any particular strength at any one position, and he played on offense and special teams. What the Jets thought would be an offensive plan to intimidate other teams turned out to be a bunch of trickery
that showed no real purpose. It is the kind of thing the Pittsburgh Steelers love to squash.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The online sportsbook experts know that the Pittsburgh Steelers were completely out of backup offensive linemen by the second quarter of its opening game against the Broncos. As has been the problem for Pittsburgh
the past few years, the team is not able to get any cohesion on the offensive line because of persistent injuries.

On defense, the Steelers showed signs of missing the departed James Farrior and the injured James Harrison, but the Steelers still looked aggressive on defense. The bet online experts are expecting safety Troy Polamalu to be unleashed on the Jets' novelty offense and disrupt it significantly.

New York Jets

Jets' quarterback Mark Sanchez did look more confident and accurate in the opening game against the Bills. The Jets' running game also looked strong thanks to the running of Shonn Greene. But the Jets did not show
any potent use of the wildcat that would strike the fear into the hearts of the opposition that New York
had promised. When Tebow was on the field, the offense looked disorganized and predictable.

The Jets' defense was strong against the pass but suspect against the run. Bad tackling and lack of aggressive line play hurt the Jets. It is something New York will need to work on for this week.

The Bottom Line

The Pittsburgh Steelers offer a far more complex challenge to the New York Jets than the Buffalo Bills did. The Steelers actually have a pass rush that will cause the Jets to stick with more traditional offensive setups. In the end, this is a game that will bring the Jets back to Earth and exploit all of the weaknesses the team has on both sides of the ball.

Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets – Sunday September 9, 2012 1:00PM EST

The sportsbook experts have noticed that nothing has come easy for the New York Jets this
year. But, at the same time, the Jets have caused all of their own drama and created their own distractions for this season. Between wide receiver Santonio Holmes publicly announcing his lack of faith in the offense to the quarterback mess that initially involved Peyton Manning but wound up with the signing of
Tim Tebow, the Jets have created a series of difficult problems for itself. The team's head coach retains his cocky attitude, but his team is not backing up the bold predictions that head coach Rex Ryan is so fond of making.

The Buffalo Bills shocked the football betting sites by making some of the most significant, and expensive, defensive roster moves of the off-season. The team signed former Houston Texans linebacker Mario
Williams to a $100 million contract, and then brought in former New England Patriots' pass rusher Mark Anderson. The Bills then chose cornerback Stephon Gilmore in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft to complete a complete
overhaul of the team's defense. The moves were welcomed by fans who are now
wondering when the Bills' offense will get its overhaul.

New York Jets

Tim Tebow has been seeing playing everything from a blocking lineman on the kick teams to a running back in the wildcat offense. While the Jets maintain that it knows exactly what it wants to do with Tebow, the
evidence suggests that the team has no idea where it really wants to play the backup quarterback. The bookmaker betting software did not see the improvements in starting quarterback Mark
Sanchez it needed to see to improve the Jets' chances of making the playoffs.
It looks like the Jets have created its own distractions and will now fall victim to those distractions as the season goes on.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills' new defense did look effective in the preseason, but the defense lacks depth. As long as the starters stay healthy, the team should be ok. But no matter what the Buffalo
defense does, the team can only go as far as quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick can take it. A betonline review of last season shows that Fitzpatricks' play feel off immediately after he signed his big contract to be the starting quarterback. The team needs Fitzpatrick to regain the composure that won him the starting job or it could
be a long season in Buffalo.

The Bottom Line

This will be a very low scoring game as both of these offenses are struggling while these two defenses are two of the best in the league. In the end, the ineffectiveness of the Jets offense will be what costs the team a
win in its home opener for the 2012 season.
